About Me
I was born and raised in South Central LA and attended Orthopaedic Medical Magnet High School. I decided to go to college out of state in Iowa studying Biology. After I graduated college in 2017, I left to Peace Corps and lived in Costa Rica for 2 years. In Costa Rica, I worked as a Youth Development Specialist in a high school and elementary school. When I returned to LA, I decided to continue in the education field and became a teacher at Manual Arts High School.
Courses
I teach Scientific Technology and Research 1A and Health. They are both 9th grade classes offered to Magnet students. In my classes I like to challenge students to think scientifically and be able to articulate scientific processes with specific language. Students are able to practice scientific processes using lab equipment during experiments.
