About Me

My name is Max Tran, and I’m the counselor for the SMART Academy. I began working at Manual Arts in 2013 and have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a Toiler. My goal this year is to support your child or children so they can find both academic and personal success. I also strive to help them apply their knowledge beyond the walls of the classroom and help them carve out their paths when they move beyond high school.

As a counselor, I will prioritize these aspects in my work:

• Build the capacity of students to think critically and independently
• Push students to drive their own learning
• Help students better engage in an increasingly globalized society
